Parent involvement
"find your niche"
There is no formal requirement regarding volunteerism, but research repeatedly shows that children whose parents take part in school activities achieve at higher levels. Therefore, we strongly encouraged parents to find their niche and take as great a role in the school as their schedules allow.
Three organizations form the core of parent involvement.
School Board. Responsible for planning, policy formulation, financial planning and advice, selection of the principal, supporting development, and evaluating its own progress.
Home & School Association. Responsible for promoting good relationships between parents and teachers, and cooperating with the pastor and faculty for the betterment of the school, both financially and educationally.
Booster Club. Responsible for organizing and financing extra-curricular athletics.
