A winding path
Blessed Trinity
St. Gerard's
St. Thomas
1990s

COOK, CAROLINE (CARRIE) GUTHRIE attended St. Gerard's from 1982-1985. When St. Gerard's, Holy Family and Sts. Peter and Paul combined in 1985 she became a Blessed Trinity student, completing 8th grade in 1991. She received a B.A. in French from Carleton College in 1999 and an M.A., H.R.I.R., from the University of Minnesota in 1999. Married to James Guthrie, she lives in Champlin, MN, and is employed as a Human Resources Manager for General Electric.

Carrie says: "The Biscups were an institution at Blessed Trinity and had a huge impact on my education and future life path. Thanks for great memories!"

WARR, GEOFFREY, 1996 graduate of Blessed Trinity, graduated from Oregon State University in 2007 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He is currently employed by The Boeing Company designing electrical power systems for military aircraft. He married on July 7, 2007 at Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Portland, OR. He says: "No kids yet but someday."

He continues: "I must say coming to Blessed Trinity was a big change for me. I had no idea what being a catholic was even though I am a "cradle catholic". I do miss the family like atmosphere of the school. I spent 3 years with the same people and we grew to love each other. Mr. and Mrs. Biscup were by far the best memory of Blessed Trinity. Blessed Trinity, Mrs. Robson, and especially the Biscups made me into who I am as a catholic today. The ski trips were always fun Dissecting the fetal pigs was a great time also. No one ni the public schools got to do that until they were in high school. Grammar and literature were also engrained in our skulls. The Jane Schaefer Method totally confused the BT kids. We had real English and composition."
