Linda Erickson, Tiny Tots teacher, is a life-long resident of Great Falls except for her college years and three years of teaching. Her three daughters are enrolled in Holy Spirit School. Being a product of Catholic education, providing this type of education for her children has always been Linda’s goal. She and her husband appreciate and believe in the importance of teaching values and the Catholic faith along with other subjects. Linda taught 2nd grade for seven years at Holy Spirit before her oldest child was born. She says: “I feel like the Holy Spirit has led me back to this school family. I was blessed with being able to stay at home with my kids for the last 8 years and now feel that I have been given a fantastic opportunity to be a teacher here at Holy Spirit School again and I still get to spend a lot of my time with my girls. I feel like I have the best of both worlds and I am very thankful for that. This place has always been a second home for me and now I get to be an even bigger part of that. I love it!
Colleen Brown joined Holy Spirit in 2009 after graduating
from MSU-Northern in 2006 with her bachelor’s degree in K-8 elementary
education along with a K-12 reading endorsement. She is married and the mother
of four children: Mason 11, Trinity 9, Jeri 4, and Evan 3. As a family they
enjoy the outdoors, hiking in the summer and skiing during the winter. Prior to
working at Holy Spirit Colleen substituted in the public schools and had a
long-term substitute position in a kindergarten classroom. Colleen says: “I am
overjoyed to be a dedicated Pre-K teacher and a part of Holy Spirit School.”
Alisa Hale was a parent of Holy Spirit students before she joined the staff as a teacher. With a B.A. in Education from the University of Montana, she worked as a math tutor and 3rd grade teacher in a Great Falls public school. From there she came to Holy Spirit and began to don many different hats, wearing each as well as the other. She began her career at our school in 1999 teaching 2nd grade. The following year she began teaching 1st grade, loving her team work with Mrs. Vlasie. Since 2004, Alisa has blessed kindergarteners with her talents. She says she enjoys our school family community, especially seeing everyone gathered for Friday morning mass.
Theresa Molden, full-day kindergarten teacher at Holy
Spirit, student taught in kindergarten. In addition to her experience teaching in
middle school, her love of children has also led her to work at the Boys and
Girls Club of Southwest Montana. She has a degree in elementary education with
an endorsement in early childhood. She loves summer sports including fishing,
boating, swimming and hiking. Theresa says: “I have heard nothing but great
comments on how hard working and caring the staff and parents are at Holy
Spirit. The small community of the school is very inviting and welcoming.”
