A former student in the building where she now teaches, 4th grade teacher Mimi Mathson began her teaching career in 1976 at Sts. Peter and Paul School, one of the predecessors of Holy Spirit School. She received her B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Library Science from the University of Great Falls in 1975. Besides 4th grade, Mimi has taught 5th and 6th grades, has taught in the resource room, and served as librarian. Mimi feels “truly blessed to teach in the warm, faith-filled, family atmosphere at Holy Spirit Catholic School. It is an honor to spend each day working with such wonderful children and staff.”
New
to Holy Spirit in 2007, 5th grade teacher Erin Voeller previously taught kindergarten at Holy Spirit. She has a
B.S. in elementary education and spent thirteen years teaching
kindergarten in rural Greenfield, MT. Hoping to find a similar setting,
she says Holy Spirit School is it! “[At Holy Spirit] people take the
time to get to know one another. There is a real sense of community and
commitment to our kids.” Cross stitch and quilting are among her out of
school activities. She also likes camping, gardening, and bike riding.
